Liaisoning, approvals & government consulting — answered
Quick answers across single window clearance, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana incentives, APIIC land allotment, and how BRIDGE engagements work.
About BRIDGE & Liaisoning
What is liaisoning and why do projects need it?+
Liaisoning is the structured process of securing statutory approvals, NOCs and government clearances required to start and operate a project in India. Industrial, infrastructure, real estate and renewable energy projects typically need 20–40 approvals across central, state and local authorities — liaisoning consultants manage filings, follow-ups and escalations so projects do not stall.
Which states does BRIDGE operate in?+
We have deep on-ground presence in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, and execute pan-India mandates across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Delhi NCR through partner networks and dedicated state desks.
Do you only handle large projects?+
No. We work with MSMEs setting up single units, mid-market manufacturers expanding capacity, and institutional investors deploying multi-hundred-crore mandates. Engagement scope adapts to project complexity, not just ticket size.
Single Window Clearance
Full guide: /services/single-window-clearance
What is single window clearance?+
Single window clearance is a unified application and approval system that lets industrial and infrastructure projects apply for all required state and central NOCs — land, power, water, environment, fire, labour, building plan — through one portal, with statutory deemed-approval timelines.
How long does single window clearance take in India?+
Most state single window systems commit 15 to 45 working days for end-to-end clearance depending on project category. Telangana's TS-iPASS guarantees 15 days for mega projects; Andhra Pradesh's Single Desk targets 21 days; central environmental clearance for Category A projects can extend the timeline to 6–9 months.
Which states have the best single window clearance systems?+
Telangana (TS-iPASS), Andhra Pradesh (AP Single Desk), Gujarat (Investor Facilitation Portal), Karnataka (Ebiz portal) and Tamil Nadu (TNSWP) are widely considered the most reliable. Each state portal interfaces with central NSWS for cross-jurisdictional approvals.
Do I need a consultant for single window clearance?+
Self-filing is possible for small units but most industrial and infrastructure projects engage a liaisoning consultant to manage document preparation, departmental follow-up, escalation when timelines slip, and parallel coordination across utility, environment, fire and labour authorities.
Andhra Pradesh & Telangana
How does APIIC land allotment work?+
APIIC allots land in notified industrial parks based on sector eligibility, investment commitment and employment generation. Allotment follows online application via the AP Single Desk portal, technical scrutiny by APIIC zonal office, allotment committee approval, payment of EMD and execution of agreement for sale — typically 60–90 days end-to-end for compliant proposals.
What is TS-iPASS and how is it different from other state systems?+
TS-iPASS (Telangana State Industrial Project Approval and Self-Certification System) is the only Indian single window framework backed by statutory deemed approval — if a department does not respond within the stipulated timeline, the application is treated as approved. This shifts accountability to the state and is the primary reason Telangana is preferred for time-sensitive electronics, pharma and data centre projects.
What incentives are available under AP Industrial Development Policy 2026–31?+
Capital subsidy up to 25% for thrust sectors, SGST reimbursement for 7 years, stamp duty refund, power tariff reimbursement, interest subsidy on term loans, and additional incentives for women, SC/ST and first-generation entrepreneurs. Sector-specific top-ups apply for electronics, EV, food processing and green hydrogen.
Engagement & Fees
How do BRIDGE engagements typically work?+
We begin with a free consultation to scope approvals, timelines and risks. Engagements are then structured as either fixed-fee per approval bundle, retainer for multi-year mandates, or success-fee linked to land allotment / clearance milestones. Scope, deliverables and SLAs are documented in a single engagement letter before work starts.
Do you handle disputes or only fresh applications?+
Both. Roughly 30% of mandates involve unblocking stalled approvals, responding to show-cause notices, or coordinating with legal counsel on writ petitions where departments have exceeded statutory timelines.
How quickly can you start?+
Initial assessment within 48 hours of inquiry. Active filing typically begins within 5–7 working days once engagement letter is signed and base documentation is shared.
